CASA designs, sells signs to help continue its fight for child welfare through pandemic

May 27th, 2020

CASA of Passaic County, which has its headquarters in Wayne, created the signs to cheer on its own volunteers and other community heroes. The signs are sold for $20 on CASA’s website, and the money raised goes to help fill the gaps that canceled CASA fundraisers have left. So far, the group has sold about 1,000 signs. Passaic’s CASA has about 15 full-time staff and more than 130 volunteers. COVID-19 has made their work increasingly difficult, but they have continued to fight for the welfare of their children.
